THE NEW MINI COUNTRYMAN

OVERVIEW Higher, longer, MINI - the new MINI Countryman has grown noticeably compared to its predecessor. With wider wheel arches, characteristic charisma and a modern minimalist design with clearly designed surfaces, the car now has a significantly enhanced presence.

MINI TWINPOWER TURBOCHARGED ENGINES. The MINI Countryman offers you the power and efficiency of MINI TwinPower Turbo technology. They don't just stand out from the rest – but leave the rest standing. So power up with the engine that matches your lifestyle, driving style and the journeys you most regularly make.

ALL4 FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE. The ALL4 all-wheel drive system distributes power dynamically between all wheels, giving you terrain-tackling traction and grip on all surfaces. And if it detects any loss of traction due to wet or icy surfaces, it shifts power dynamically as needed. This lets take advantage of the rugged, adventurous nature of your MINI Countryman. So whatever the forecast holds, you stay in control – and in your element.

DRIVING ASSISTANCE. The optional Driving Assistant is like having an extra pair of eyes. It warns you about vehicles in the “blind spot” and if needed actively supports steering your MINI back into the lane. In addition it helps detecting crossing traffic behind you when you are reversing with your MINI. Driving Assistant Plus includes camera and radar-based driver assistance features. It makes getting to your destination more relaxing by automatically maintaining your desired speed, lane, and distance to the preceding vehicle.

TALLER. LONGER. SMARTER TOO. We’ve made more room for all your exciting plans. The new MINI Countryman is 13 cm longer and 8 cm higher with up to 25% more cargo space. Thanks to the reduced design and clever use of space there is also more storage, so whatever you want to take with you to make your journey more comfortable or more fun, you can.

FOLD DOWN AND LOAD UP. The highly versatile MINI Countryman is more than generous when it comes to space. It has space for five long-legged adults, and the back seats fold to offer extra boot space or legroom. You can create even more legroom or cargo space by sliding the rear bench back or forwards by as much as 13 cm. Whatever you are planning, you can quickly and easily change the layout to fit your needs.

RAISING THE ROOF. It's longer, too. You have plenty more room on top. MINI roof rails now come as standard to make your MINI Countryman adventures even easier. They come in black high-gloss and provide the foundation for all MINI roof racks and roof boxes while looking great at the same time.

The fabric is made from high-quality, recycled materials and knitted with a unique 2D technique.

OLED, OLED OLED OLED. Your dash's beating heart and focal point is the stunning, circular OLED touchscreen. Using state-of-the-art OLED technology with a diameter of 240 mm and its high-quality glass lending it a distinctive, minimalist appearance. It serves as an instrument cluster and your onboard infotainment and assistance hub. And the round geometry is a world first.

Everywhere you look there is something exciting to discover. The light-alloy wheels are bolder, sleeker, and more aerodynamic. The convenient roof rail now comes standard in black high-gloss. And the C-Pillar comes with a stylish design. And with four trim options to choose from there’s a MINI design to help you express yourself .

ALL-ROUND HIGH PERFORMANCE. Radiating pure confidence and intrepid individuality, our range of 17”-20” light alloy wheels (up to 21" as accessory) represents MINI at its most intense. And through their lightweight design and use of recycled aluminum they contribute to reducing our carbon footprint in various respects.

A SPLASH OF COLOUR ON TOP. The contrasting roof comes in several distinctive colour options and is paired with a stylish C-Pillar design. Opening the grey-shaded, glass sunroof is a matter of touching a button and an automatic wind deflector ensures the right balance between freedom and comfort.

A DIGITAL QUANTUM LEAP. The new MINI Operating System 9 opens up a completely new intuitive user experience and ensures you're connected and in control more than ever before – on every journey. It’s optimised for your interaction with the exquisite OLED touchscreen and your MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant using your spoken voice, so you now enjoy more intelligent personalisation and emotion than ever before.
Music streaming apps like Spotify and Amazon Music have been adapted to the MINI Operating System 9 so that they integrate perfectly into the round MINI Interaction Unit, enabling MINI customers to enjoy an intuitive and visually appealing music streaming experience.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available in the MINI Operating System 9 for wireless smartphone connectivity. Besides appearing on the MINI Interaction Unit, relevant information can also be shown on the optionally available Head-Up Display.
