Using state-of-the-art OLED technology with a diameter of 240 mm and its high-quality glass lending it a distinctive, minimalist appearance. It serves as an instrument cluster as well as your onboard infotainment and assistance hub. And the circular OLED display is a world first.

EXCELLENT AERODYNAMICS. The all-electric MINI Cooper was designed from the start to manage aerodynamic forces in the most efficient way possible. With its fully closed underbody and grille as well as its smooth, minimalistic exterior, we’d already considerably reduced drag. All MINI wheels are optimised for better aerodynamics, too. With such low wind resistance, it’s extremely efficient, so you can drive even further without needing to recharge.

The all-electric MINI Cooper is equipped with innovative features that create a safer driving environment for you and other road users. The Active Cruise Control regulates the distance to the vehicle in front and is constantly scanning the road to identify potentially dangerous situations. Lane Change Warning will warn you if you veer out of your lane. If your MINI senses a possible collision at the rear, it will activate the hazard lights at double frequency. DRIVING DYNAMICS. OH SO COOPER. To achieve maximum go-kart feeling, we applied key design criteria when developing the all-electric MINI Cooper. We enhanced driving dynamics for instance thanks to the low centre-of-gravity due to the battery placement. We achieve thrilling MINI handling by optimising weight distribution and using a direct steering ratio coupled with a small steering wheel. We boost lateral dynamics and grip by optimising tyre width. And latest hardware and software enabled us to make handling even more playful and thrilling especially in the Go-Kart Mode.

PUTTING SECONDARY ALUMINUM FIRST. Our guiding principle during the design process and product development is “secondary first.” Up to 70% of secondary aluminium from aluminium scrap is used for the wheels in our new-generation MINI vehicles. In conjunction with the green electricity used, we save around 90% of the energy required compared with primary aluminium production. Secondary aluminium production is associated with 95% fewer greenhouse emissions.

DIGITAL KEY PLUS. You can now open your MINI just by getting closer to it. The optional Digital Key Plus uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology with a high safety standard and works in just the same way as a traditional key fob. So if you are nearby, and your phone is in your pocket or a bag, it will unlock your MINI automatically – and then lock it again when you leave. Moreover, you can share the key with your family or friends via simple text message.
